Road 2 Blogging dot Com is a blog that follows the goings on of a newbie blogger located in the UK.  Looking to smash into the world of making money online by blogging has been an interesting vision for just over a year for the budding writer – Nick Sanders.

Writing also through his own experiences on road2graduation.com, Nick hopes to find enlightenment, experience and guidance along this long and thought provoking journey, to become a full time blogger and quit his day job.

Many blogs throughout the blogosphere are writing and posting about making money online, and Nick is a keen reader of most of them – the things that make road2blogging.com different?  Nick aims to be more interactive with web 2.0 strategies – he loves talking more than writing (so podcasts and videos will be up by February) and it’s going to be a personal story shared every step of the way.

Whether you are new to blogging, you’ve been blogging for a few months, or you’re a pro, you’ll want to stay tuned to see how a non-tech guy brings about something new and positive to the blogosphere!

The Challenge/The Targets

• 24 months long and starting on the 15^th of December 2007
• Spending under $100 on building the blog, just using money from earnings (discounting the first year of domain registration, as received this free from 1and1 hosting)
• Get into the top ten of 45n5.com’s 100 money making blogs
• Get into the top 100 blogs in technorati
• Become a full-time problogger and quit his day job
• Create interesting daily content and have over 5,000 readers and a PR6 blog by the end of the 24 months

Nick’s Experience

• Blogger for a month at www.road2graduation.com before starting this blog
• A wannabe entrepreneur from Accrington – North West England, UK
• A non-tech guy – who knows simple stuff (FTP, MS word, databases-ish, simple html) but not a wizz on the computer/internet
• A reader of many areas that will help improve his online status
