And He’s off………….. the start of road2blogging dot com

Thanks for visiting road2blogging.com, if you like what you've read, then please subscribe to the RSS feed, or RSS by Email to stay on top of recent news and postings from the blog.

So, the day has come of the launch of road2blogging.com, and I’ve got a few things I’ve been working on over the past two weeks since I uploaded all the software onto the site.
Networking
Joining Entrecard has brought a lot of other newbie bloggers and more prominent ones to the blog too; a few stumbling some posts and subscribing to my RSS feed – currently there are over 30 RSS subscribers and I haven’t even started the challenge, fantastic!
I’ve joined Yaro Starak’s Blog Mastermind, and I know that at $77 per month it could be considered a lot to some newbies, but in order to make money you do need to speculate a little I think. This does take me over the $100 threshold I set myself to setup the blog and earn money from (now $120), but I’m sure this $20 I can make back in a week or two
.
Strategy
I’ve already started my commenting strategy on other blogs and I’ve been working on a ‘quick start guide’ for this – not sure when this is going to be released, but I’m sure it will be in a newsletter/course format.
Guest posting is something that Darren Rowse goes on about over at Problogger.net and I’ve already had one published (How 2 Blogger Review) on bloggin-ads.com – couldn’t really get any more published as I’ve only written one! But, I am determined to write more for other blogs.
Stats
Alexa ranking has gone from ‘no rank’ to ‘590,482’ 1,040,480 – think my Alexa toolbar is playing up (3 months average), with a one week average of ‘120,055’ 113,272. Hopefully this will come down, down, down in the next month or so – there are many other newbie blogs that I’ve come across this week that are around 2,000,000 strange but true.
Future
Regular posts will pop up everyday Monday to Friday on making money, blogging, SEO, online promotion and marketing. I’m in two minds whether to write some ‘normal’ posts for the weekends, or to start a ‘newbie blog steps’ series, so that readers can follow both weekday posts and weekend posts no matter at what level of bloggers they are.
Please let me know what you think?
There are a few design tweaks that I need to make in the next few days, so it may become a little rocky as we go….

Don’t worry, I’m sure you’ll receive a lot of viewers to your site. Like you said, you’re not even opened yet, but there are 30 subscribers. Keep up the good work and remember to work hard.

Will do Toni, it’s a great program and I’ve learnt a lot so far - but I’ll add it to my monthly review and what I’ve implemented.
